Welcome to the homepage for the Wuertz Law Office. We’re thankful for your visit, and we look forward to the opportunity to serve you.
The Wuertz Law Office originally opened up in 2006. The specialties of the office reflect those of its founder, Chad Wuertz. The law office specializes in small business law, family law, and veteran’s law. A brief definition follows:
Small Business Law
This refers to law that pertains to small businesses. This can mean anything from zoning laws and defining property boundaries to claims filed directly against the business in question. Specialty in this area is vital for small businesses, since they usually don’t have lawyers on staff to help with this kind of thing. The goal of the law office is to help businesses get their deals done right then, while at the same time planning for the future to avoid common mistakes.
Family Law
Family law does not just mean divorce, although that is something that is sadly far too common these days. The law office also offers services in regard to custody, child support, and name changes. Here, the goal is to help clients make rational, reasonable long-term decisions to affect their future for the better. To that end, the law office is prepared to absorb or deflect as much vitriol as possible.
Veteran’s Law
This pertains to benefits applied for, and denied, by the office of Verteran’s Affairs. The Wuertz Law Office focuses specifically on service connection claims – that is, the monthly stipend paid out by the VA for injuries and medical conditions incurred in military service. That doesn’t necessarily mean it occurred during combat. It just has to have happened during service.
The law office can also help with other claims such as claims for a surviving spouse or a dependent, or pension benefits for veterans who, being disabled, can no longer fend for themselves.
The goal of the office is perhaps best summed up in their philosophy. The goal, ultimately, is to provide service in a manner that, though positive and assertive, is at the same time not stressful for the client.
